| Hey all you Virginia guys, I’m headed your way! I took a job in Newport News and will be headed up your way in the next month or so. Looking forward to meeting Kaz, YogoBernie and all the other ECZA guys in the area :-) What do I need to know about Virginia? I’ve checked on insurance, and the rates are 1/3 of what I’m paying here, which is great. Not sure of where we will be living exactly yet, but probably North of Newport News somewhere. I can’t wait to get there and be able to drive my Z…… I’ve driven it a grand total of 5 miles in the last 2 years. The best part will be moving out of this shithole otherwise known as New Orleans, where a murder a day is the norm and I wake up at night to look out the window and make sure the windows are intact on the Z and the garage is still locked. I’m going to be rebuilding my Jeep 258ci I-6 motor within a couple months of getting there, as it has a rod knock and I need to get it back up and running as my backup vehicle. Anyone had any experience w/ a Jeep, or want to lend a hand on that project? I’ll have a garage at that point, and have a full compliment of tools besides and air compressor and engine hoist. I've rebuilt a motor before, but that was 15 years ago, lol. I’ve got so much to do before I make the move still, and it’s going to suck living in a temporary place for a while until the GF and the rest of the household goods make the move later, but I’ll be glad to be out of here.
